Think Before You Type.

Before I start explaining what this blog post is about I just want to throw something out there; this blog post is not aimed at anyone in particular at all. I just wanted to upload this post because I wanted to share my opinion. So I just wanted to say that before I started the blog post properly.

So, recently a lot of the YouTubers I watch have been uploading vlogs about the hate they're seeing in the comments of their videos or vlogs both aimed at certain people involved in them or just about the video in general; picking out the smallest little things in the content of the video uploaded.

I know that I don't own a YouTube channel where I post videos but when you watch videos of people you haven't even met daily you feel like you have a connection with them as if you're friends with them and it breaks my heart when I go to comment on the video about a funny part or how great I thought the video was and see that the top few or most recent comments are picking out the worst bits in the video or how the video wasn't one of their best quality videos.

I think that over the years that I've been able to run my fingers along a keyboard the internet has started to become a much more hateful place. I haven't directly been at gunpoint for hateful comments but it still makes me upset that the YouTubers I watch and even some of my friends have been given hate over the internet and I've seen how upset they get.

I just think that some people who send hateful comment need to step away from their keyboard and think for a moment about how they'd feel if they were sent the same comment they were giving out. I don't think that they'd like it but that's just the way I feel about it. I just think that behind every keyboard and camera that there is a real person with real feelings about real life situations going on that we don't know about. They could be going through one of the hardest times in their lives and they still pick up the camera or write a blog post about something that they love and still put across that they're happy and we wouldn't know. Then to see a comment that is hurtful or mean could just make them break.

The internet is still growing and evolving even as I write this blog post. It's evolving so quickly that I actually find it hard to keep up and I don't know where this blog will take me in 2 weeks time let alone 2 years or even 5! I just really hope that we can have a happy community where we want to continue spreading positivity.

I'm going to leave you with the tweet that Zoe a.k.a. Zoella posted on her Twitter the other day but before I do I want to ask you to do something next time you watch a YouTube video or a blog post comment something positive about the video or the blog with your opinion on how much you love the product that is being reviewed or on the part that made you laugh the most. So I'll leave you with Zoe's tweet...

"Every time you post something online, you have a choice. You can make people happy or take away their happiness. Just a thought :)"

Skincare Routine.

Keeping your skin clean is so important in your daily routine. Taking care of your skin helps take care of, calm your blemishes and clear any dirt in your pores. If the dirt in your pores is left there it can lead to spots, blackheads and other nasty things you don't want on your skin.

I've had the same skincare routine for about a year now but sometimes I swap and change things in but I thought that I would show you what my current skincare routine is. I've had this skincare routine for about a month and a half now and I'm loving the products that I'm using.

The product on the far left is my cleanser. The cleanser I'm currently using is by Simple and it's called the 'Kind to Skin Purifying Cleansing Lotion.' I picked this up for £2.99 in Superdrug and I've been loving it since I picked it up. To apply this to my face to I have to put it onto a cotton pad and wipe it across my face to remove all my makeup. Using cleanser is so much better than using makeup wipes because when you continue to use the same makeup wipe on your face even though it removes the makeup it spreads dirt across your face which clogs your pores which leads to spots and blackheads.

The product in the middle is my face wash. This is the Clear & Clear Blackhead Clearing 2-in-1 wash & mask. I got this from Superdrug on a deal. It was something like 2 Clean & Clear products for £5. However, I don't know whether that deal is still on so the original price was £4.49. I'm so happy I picked this up for a few reasons. Number 1, I had quite a bad break out session before I brought this and within a few uses my spots had almost all gone. Obviously I still get the odd few every now and again but with a few uses it's bye bye to nasty Mr Old Spot. Number 2, you can use it as a mask or a face wash! Uh-may-zing! If I've come home from a long tiring day at school I can just run a bath and leave it on for five minutes or if I want a quick shower I can just use it as a quick face wash. And lastly number 3, it's oil free which means it's good for all skin types because it doesn't give you excess oil but it hydrates your skin so well!

The product on the right is my moisturiser. It's the Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturiser. I bought this in the same deal as my face wash but at it's normal price it's £3.59, I bet you can guess why I bought it on the deal instead of separately. Anyway I love this moisturiser for a few reasons. Number 1, it's oil free so as I said it's good for all skin types. Number 2, it's a really easy application and dries quite quickly but still hydrates your skin. And number 3, it helps prevent spots too!

An Introduction...

Hello to all the lovely people reading this. Hopefully there are people reading this....For all you lovely people who are though, welcome to my blog!

What's this blog about you ask. Well, if you hadn't already seen my blog's called 'My Crazy Beauty Journey.' Can anyone guess what this blog is about? It's kind of obvious isn't it? There are three aspects of this blog; beauty, fashion and life. For the beauty part of this blog I'll be posting blog posts on makeup I'm loving at the minute, recommendations for all you beauty lovers out there and all that jazz. For the fashion part of this blog I'll be uploading look books and my favourite fashion pieces at that particular moment in time. And lastly, for the life part of this blog I'll be posting blog posts of places I've been or I might upload a chatty posts about my thoughts on something. I hope this blog will be of some help to everyone reading and I hope I've cleared up what this blog will be about. Any questions, just leave a comment and I'll get back to you!

So, who is this mysterious girl behind the laptop? Well, I'm Chloe. No last name sorry, that remains a mystery. Anyway, I'm 14 and I live in the UK. My hobbies and interests? Well, I love listening to music whatever the weather. Favourite song? Too many... I really like beauty and reading. Favourite book? Don't ask there's too many... Weird combination in the eyes of some people but I'm not really a normal girl. Oh, I love doing rugby, like full contact rugby. A girl playing rugby? Don't judge, girls play rugby too. Also, I love baking, mostly cupcakes, and spending time with my friends, what teenage girl doesn't?

Hey look, it's my face!
Talking about friends...Sometimes there might be a person behind the camera helping me take snapshots of my life and other things to go on my blog. Who is this face behind the camera? Well, she's one of my best friends and she's called Emily. No more information about her though, sorry, privacy reasons.

That's not her, I just liked
the picture....
So as I write my last words on this blog post listening to the words of Ellie Goulding's Anything Could Happen, it reminds me and makes me hopeful that with this blog anything could happen.
